About Kristi

I am Kristi Hammack, photographer and sole owner of Kaptured by Kristi Photography. I am currently serving the southern Georgia area. I live in Hahira, GA, right outside Valdosta. We recently relocated here from spending four years in Okinawa, Japan.

This is more than a job for me. It's a work of art, a work from my heart. Every single session leaves a mark on my heart and adds to part of my story. 

I like to enjoy each session, let things happen..... so I can "Kapture" moments as they happen. I will suggest poses but life is so much more fun as it happens. Sometimes its a toddler throwing a fit and parents laughing, a sweet moment where mom lays her head of dad's shoulders, holding hands, watching the kids run... it's all life and it's what I want to Kapture for you.

When I am not working, I am juggling a husband in the Air Force. We have been married for 12 years now and currently at our 4th AF base, Moody in Valdosta, GA. We have three kids that keep us laughing, wondering what was even funny before kids and always on the go. 

We have a son, Qyn, who is 10 years old. He is often referred to as "Qynepedia" because it doesn't seem like there is anything that kid doesn't know. He is a typical 10 year old and keeps us going with his wit and humor - which sometimes is funnier to him than us. 

We have a daughter, Shelby, who is 8 years old. She is the spunkiest, punkiest, craziest and coolest kid around. She has her own unique style that only she can pull off. She loves animals, loves to draw and has a heart as big as Texas. 

Lastly, we have another daughter, Chesnee, who is 6 years old. She is just a sweet little girl, loves to cuddle, help out and has her own level of drama. Chesnee wants to be just like her mommy when she grows up - she wants kids and to be a photographer. 

Needless to say, I am busy but life is better when things are hoppin'. I look forward to my time in Georgia and making more memories with Kaptured by Kristi Photography.
